Week-End Wrap up

* I'm sticking to my goal to run the 10 mile Crim this August. I figured to do that, I need to run a few races before then to keep me on track. I convinced a friend to run a 4 mile race on St. Patrick's Day with me but as soon as I asked her, I started to worry I wouldn't be ready in time. I pushed myself on the treadmill this week and was just under 4 miles in 45 minutes. The farthest and most I've ever run at one time. I still have to do intervals (3:1) but to get to this point? I never would have believed it a year ago....Kinda proud of myself!!

* I'm SO excited for the 80s Murder Mystery tomorrow night! Can't wait to get all done up! Pictures will definitely come next week!!!

* March is so crazy busy again - at home - at work - all over! Most of it is fun stuff and shouldn't be stressful but I just hope we can do it all!

* Next week is my Student Teacher's last week. She's done a good job but I'm ready to get back to doing what I love to do - teach!

*  We're headed to Great Wolf Lodge soon and it'll be the first time in a long time that I won't feel so horribly self conscious in a bathing suit that I'll want to hide under a beach towel the whole time.

* My students will have a piece of artwork that they all helped to create on display in a REAL art museum during March and April! Our local Very Special Arts (VSA) will have an exhibit at our Institute of Art. How cool is that?!?!

* We had Parent/Teacher Conferences for Jacob and Sarah again this week. They are both doing great in school. The teacher's only notes of concern were that Sarah's often a chatterbox (not a surprise) and that Jacob goes to the bathroom too often (also not a surprise).

* Their teacher also told us that Jacob is the object of affection for at least one of their classmates and that he's quite popular with all the girls!

* Adam STILL refuses to use the potty at home but he's still making a few attempts at daycare. I guess I'll have to take that and keep hoping he'll relax here, too.

Hope you all have a good weekend!

I am so happy for you with the running, Barb! That's just awesome!

Can't wait to see pictures of your 80's get-up!

And Adam is definitely making progress on the potty. Hang in there...he'll come around soon, I'm sure.

I say let the daycare take over the potty training! LOL

Love that you're pushing yourself and that you're proud of yourself. There is no better feeling!

I'm getting the Great Wolf Lodge itch...maybe next year.
