We stopped at a traffic light last weekend and there was a man standing on the side of the road with a sign that read "Please Help Homeless God Bless" He was right outside Sarah's window so she naturally asked what his sign said. After we read it, Jacob asked "Does that mean he can't find his house?" When we replied "not exactly..." and started to proceed through the light, he then said "Well, I hope someone takes him home."

I was washing dishes the other night and Paul came up behind me and gave me a hug from the back. Jacob walked in and says in disgust "Daddy, what are you DOING to Mommy?"

The other day, while driving home from daycare, Adam saw a sign and said "That a Stop sign!" He then told me it was a red octagon and spelled the letters he saw. When we got home, I told him to tell Daddy what he saw in the car and he replied, saying the SOUNDS (not just the letters) "ssss tttt oooo ppp" My 3 year old SOUNDED out that word, from memory! Holy moly!

That last one is amazing...it's like you've bred geniuses!
Our girls don't always seem interested in letters, so I don't push it (although I want to!) ;) ...but then there are times they can point out every letter in a word and almost seem to sound it out. What a fun age!
And too funny that Jacob is already "disgusted" by seeing his parents hug. Hahaha!!!
Wow! Little genius.
