- I met my husband on a blind date in college, thanks to my best friend, and married him 4 years later. After 5 happy years of marriage, we started a family and had boy/girl twins (our "Twinkies") in November of 2006. Our lil' "cupcake" was born on January 2009. I am also a special education teacher for students with Autism and love to read. This blog started out as a way to keep in touch with family and friends...and has turned into so much more!
